Question: California prop 8 gay marriage ban?

In California if the judge rules that Prop 8 is Constitutional, will the gay marriage bans still stand for the other states? I hope if it's constitutional they can still stand If he rules it unconstitutional will the gay marriage ban's not take effect any more in the other states?

This case is being judged by the California State Supreme Court, as it pertains to interpretation of the California State Consitution. The result of the court's decision will have no bearing on other states, unless it is later appealed to the US Supreme Court as having some relevance to the US constitution, in which case it may apply to all states.

If it does branch out I will stay in. Join the senate, get a spot on the supreme court and the come out to the nation. It will be a matter of time before I get kicked just because I like men. What a f**ked up country we live in, we can do things for the nation but if we are "different " we can't be part of something that is suppose to be neutral but actually bias. Court = Bias in this "neutral " country Gotta love it eh?
