Why are women (and men too for that matter) in Colorado so reserved and self-centered?
Why is it that women are so reserved and stand offish towards men in the cities of Colorado Springs and Denver? I haven't for the life of me been able to figure out why women here in this state and men too act so backwards with regards to dating, making new friends, and meeting new people? Case in point, I've tried to be cordial and friendly with people here, but they usually just look at me like I've got a third eye or something and no I am far from ugly. I've heard that some people say that its the " midwestern reserved attitude" . REALLY? IMHO, that " midwestern reserved attitude is total BS. Why? I'm originally from TN and have known quite a few people from Ohio and Indiana and they act NOTHING like people do here in Colorado. Hoosiers and Volunteers are way more similiar than Hoosiers and Coloradoans will ever be. Perhaps the folks who put forth the " midwestern" theory mentioned above were referring to people from Wisconsin or Minnesota. I dunno. I truly can't wait to leave the state of Colorado and move to a state where men and women are friendly and where I might actually stand a chance of meeting a lady.
