well, people have always made fun of WV, who doesnt know that, but ive been reading some comments on youtube about it, and it just has me fired up, several say we are uneducated, but if you will do your researchayou will notice that WV is among the top states in education. others also say that the cities are the only good things about WV and the country side is the part that makes it horrible, now i have to completely disagree with that, I live in Clay, WV a small county that is all country and it is not where the bad stuff happens, all the shootings take place in the cities due to, well idk what, but it isnt a guy in the country shooting his sister because she doesnt want to have sex with him, these vulgor comments just get to me. you all call uss hillbillies and rednecks, well you know what, that is just another term for a country person, and most of us are, and yea we drive loud trucks, but i have to ask, WHAT IS IT HURTING? several people like the sound, and i dont see a thing wrong with it. i mean its not like your killing anyone. they say all we do is want to go around f in our family but its not true, once again if you do your research texas is leading the way in inbreeding, we arent nearly as bad as you think, i know some are, but most of us are people that would give someone a ride if their car broke down, or help them fix it, sure some of our houses dont look the best, but have you ever heard dont judge a book by its cover, some people just arnt in good nough shape to keep their house spotless, and besides its our property and people shouldnt complain about it, please just give WV a chance, its not a bad place to live, some of the comments on youtube are saying thats its horrible and everyone hates it, and everyone leaves after they graduate highschool, right now im 15, and i love it here and do not ever want to leave, because its the beauty of a small town, i know almost everyone and they know me, its how life is supposed to be, not living on the 27th floor apartment and not owning any land. whats the point in life if you cant enjoy it? thats why several of us ride fourwheelers, and take trucks mudding, there are bad seeds in the population, and thats what everyone focus's on, alsoto prove that not eveyone from WV is an inbred person, just look at Don Knotts, Brad Paisly, etc, great people have came from WV, but the everyday people here are great too, we earn an honest living, working hard just to earn a buck, we have a better work ethic then people that sit in their airconditioned office and just click a mouse all day. also people against coal, do you realize that if surface mining was outlawed, that most of WVs and other states jobs would be lost, and coal suplies 70 % of the nations power, Consol energy provides 50 % of the nations power by itself, and 25 % of the nations energy needs. i was reading comments on the joke Dick Cheney made about WV,im usually a pretty laid back person, and it had me so fired up that i was almost in tears, people making fun of a state they do not know, chances are the people that posted that would see someones vehicle broken down and just drive by then and not think twice about it, well not herebtw sorry for misspellings, ive been up for about 24 hours, and im not typing the best in the worldit just leaves me with the question, why do people make fun us us?
